She is probably the most unlikely mare to produce a fabulous foal by Hu Sheikh Imaan
but when our 6-year-old son, Sage, asked if he could breed his rescued Chincoteague
mare "CT" to Sheikh, we agreed.
Since Chincoteague's carry such a concentrated genetic line and there is absolutely
nothing "Arabian" about CT, we did not expect to see any notable Arabian features
in the foal. We were amazed that he looks like yet another one of Sheikh's purebred
foals verses a half Arabian.
Sheikh's consistent ability to pass along his incredible temperament shows in the
antics of this adorable colt during our brief photo shoot.
